In May 2007 Green Close Studios pioneered a cultural exchange project with Lancashire Museums.

En mayo de 2007 Green Close Studios inició un proyecto pionero de intercambio cultural con Museos de Lancashire.

The Mexican ceramicist Tiburcio Soteno and his son Israel spent six weeks at Green Close Studios in the tiny rural village of Melling in the Lune Valley in North Lancashire.

El ceramista mejicano Tiburcio Soteno y su hijo Israel pasaron seis semanas en el taller de Green Close Studios en la pequeña aldea de Melling en el Valle de Lune, al norte de Lancashire.

During the six-week residency Tiburcio exchanged skills with other artists and the local community and was commissioned to create a ‘Tree of Life’ reflecting his vision of the Lune Valley.

Su estancia fue un periodo de aprendizaje y enriquecimiento mutuo con otros artistas y la comunidad local. Fruto de su visita es un Árbol de la Vida en el que Tiburcio refleja su visión del Valle de Lune.
